Author’s comment: I re-write my fanfic in English for people who can’t understand Spanish.
This is the first time I write in English and I know that this fic won’t be
great, but I hope you like.
Dance with Me
The summer of 2014 wasn’t the best date for our debut,
we knew, but we had no voice or vote and, besides, had not been dreaming much
time with our debut? Why now would we protest? That would only serve to make us
veto the showbiz forever and since we had been testing a bit in recent months,
were not going to let it go.
But
we were scared.
Scandals
over bank accounts in Switzerland with more money than we ever would be able to
see in our lives, scandals about a member leaving the latter group that the
company had made his debut, scandalous love affairs between two people who had
contracts with the company and consequent anger of the fans, scandals about a
girl I knew well and who had harassed almost slandering that way.
It
was definitely not the best time for our debut.
But
all was done, photos, video, CD... Now we had name as a group: Red Velvet and
the teaser was released, so there was no turning back.
SeulGi
found me in the rehearsal room drenched in sweat as much practice choreography,
approached me and handed me a towel with a small smile. I thanked her for the
gesture and began outlining another one to dry the liquid that expelling my
skin. Once I was dry, she hugged me tightly, wrapping his arms around my waist
and not letting me escape.
As
me, she was unsure about everything, his head was a sea of doubt and all I
could do for her at that time she was squeezing so hard against my body to melt
me and we seem to only one person.
“JooHyeon...”
she murmured.
“Remember
that now you have to call me Irene” I said. For months this was my name in the
entertainment industry, but she was determined to call me by my real name,
because she could just.
“JooHyeon
is much more personal, much more mine” she said. “Everyone will call you Irene, but
I just JooHyeon” smiled. That girl was incorrigible.
“If
you remember call me Irene on camera I’ll have enough” SeulGi nodded. “What did
you say me?”
“Dance
with me”.
"Dance with
me".
That
was our code, our way of saying we needed another. We had invented when she
began to attract attention for the comments that our sunbae KyuHyun of Super
Junior had referred to her and continued all the time when some outbreaks of
insecurity came to her, as well as the related to EXO’s BaekHyun, or when we
had to make a performance when we were still part of SM Rookies project.
Those
simple words went unnoticed by the other people around us, but we had a very
special meaning.
“Of course”.
That
night, August 3, before they launched our full video, I slipped into SeulGi’s bed
and we made love to calm our hearts, we dance between the sheets, moving to the
rhythm of our heartbeats with music that only we listened and for a few
wonderful moments when we reach the sky together we forget everything.
